​President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to eradicating insecurity across the country, declaring that the Federal Government will never surrender to the criminal elements, terrorists, and bandits threatening the nation’s peace.
​The President gave the assurance during a high-level security briefing at the State House, where he addressed the ongoing efforts of the Armed Forces to restore stability to hard-hit regions.
​Speaking with a tone of firm resolve, President Tinubu emphasized that sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria, and his government will not negotiate away the safety of its citizens. He stressed that the administration’s primary constitutional duty is the protection of lives and property, a mandate he intends to fulfill completely.
​”Let me be unequivocally clear: the Federal Government will not back down, nor will we surrender the peace of our nation to bandits, terrorists, or any agents of destruction,” the President stated. “Our security agencies are being empowered like never before, and we will hunt down those who disrupt the peace of Nigerians until justice is served.”
​The President lauded the bravery of the Nigerian military and intelligence agencies, noting that strategic coordination has already begun yielding fruits in dismantling criminal networks.
​President Tinubu urged Nigerians to remain resilient and support the security forces, reminding the public that national security is a collective responsibility. He called on local communities to assist law enforcement by providing timely, actionable intelligence.
