Thousands of indigenes, political leaders, traditional rulers, and residents across the Isoko Nation turned out en masse on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, gathering at Isoko House in Oleh for a grand reception held in honour of Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his wife, Deaconess Tobore.

The historic gathering served as a major political platform where the region formally reaffirmed its endorsement for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Addressing the crowd during the ceremony, Governor Oborevwori expressed profound gratitude to the Isoko people for their solidarity and urged them to translate their endorsement into actual votes at the polls for President Tinubu, himself, and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

Highlighting his administration’s performance, the governor stated that his government possesses a clear “report card” of accomplishments to show voters.

He pointed out key infrastructure projects, such as the completion of the Trans-Warri Road along with its 15 bridges awaiting commissioning, while giving assurances that the Oleh-Olomoro-Iwride-Iyede road project and power supply challenges affecting Isoko communities are actively receiving government attention.

The event featured strong declarations from prominent royal fathers and political leaders representing various sectors of the region. Speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, HRM Romanus Inana Okpuzo, the Odiologbo of Owhe Kingdom, reaffirmed the traditional institution’s total support for both leaders.

Adding royal weight to the gathering, HRM Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (retd.), the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, alongside HRM Luke S.P. Kalanama VIII, the Pere of Akugbene-Mein, commended the Isoko nation for honoring the governor and urged the ethnic group to maintain sustained unity for regional growth.

Mobilisation efforts among women were also highlighted when former Senate Chief Whip, Senator Stella Omu, pledged the unyielding commitment of Isoko women to work tirelessly to secure victory across the board for Tinubu, Oborevwori, and the party in the upcoming election cycle.
