Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta has congratulated the state’s former Chief Judge, Justice Marshal Umukoro, on his 70th birth anniversary.

The governor described the retired jurist as a man of integrity, diligence and dedication to justice throughout his years in public service.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr  Festus Ahon on Sunday in Asaba, Oborevwori praised Umukoro’s contributions to the state’s judiciary.

He said the former Chief Judge played a vital role in strengthening the judicial system and advancing reforms in the sector.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I join your family and friends in celebrating this milestone.

“As you mark your 70th birth anniversary, I pray God grants you good health, wisdom and continued fulfilment in service to society,” he said.
