Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has approved the promotion of 3,592 civil servants following the successful completion of the 2025 promotion exercise conducted by the FCT Civil Service Commission, in what officials described as another milestone in the ongoing reforms of the territory’s public service.
The approval was announced on Wednesday by the Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, Emeka Ezeh, in a statement made available through the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.
According to the statement, the promotion exercise forms part of activities marking the third anniversary of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening public institutions and rewarding dedicated service.
The statement noted that the promotion followed the successful conclusion of the 2025 promotion exercise carried out by the FCT Civil Service Commission in line with established civil service rules and procedures.
“As part of the third year anniversary of President Bola Tinubu, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has approved the promotion of 3,592 civil servants following the successful conclusion of the 2025 promotion exercise conducted by the FCT Civil Service Commission,” the statement read.
