The Lagos Metropolitan Council of The Order of Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria (KSM) has elected a new set of executives to pilot its affairs for the next four years. The officers emerged in a very peaceful and transparent election held at Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Centre Ikeja near Saint Leo Catholic Church Ikeja on Saturday 25th October 2025.
The newly elected executives are led by Sir Nosa Ehigiator, who was elected unopposed as the Metropolitan Grand Knight (MGK). Also elected to serve with him were twelve officers that include:
- Sir Benji Ofodile as Deputy Metropolitan Grand Knight.(DMGK),
- Sir Michael Olofinlade, Metropolitan Secretary ,Sir Charles Mbama, Metropolitan Advocate ,Worthy Brother
- Charles Nmarkwe ,Metropolitan Chancellor ,
- Sir Lawrence Ojemen,Metropolitan Treasurer,
- Sir Benedict Osilaja ,Metropolitan Financial Secretary,
- Worthy Brother Andrew Isichei,Metropolitan Auditor,
- Sir Emmanuel Isikaku,Metropolitan – Warden,
- Sir Patrick Falola,Metropolitan Physician,
- Sir Bidwell Okere ,Metropolitan PRO, and
- Worthy Brother Solomon Adenubi – Assistant Metropolitan Secretary
The election was conducted by the Assistant Metro Chaplain- Rev. Fr. Kenneth Jerome Mereh under the supervision of the KSM Supreme Secretary – Sir Dan Egwu.
Also, present at the venue was the Supreme Knight of KSM Sir Dr Charles Mbelede as well as the Supreme Treasurer – Sir Patrick Ekwenta.
The event was marked by prayerful disposition of all who were present. It underscored unity and a shared commitment as a means of advancing the mission and vision of KSM.
In his acceptance speech, the Metropolitan Grand Knight – Sir Nosa Ehigiator expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and the new executives and reaffirmed the team’s dedication to serving faithfully.
“We are humbled by this responsibility and will continue to uphold the values and mission of our noble Order to strengthen the faith, promote unity, and positively impact our community,” he said.
He also commended the immediate past executives led by Sir Don Ezeh for their selfless service and contributions during their tenure, when he said “We are, because you were”. Ehigiator emphasized the need to keep the Order in a growth trajectory for a stronger foundation in the next phase of KSM growth in the Metro Council.
A release issued by Sir Bidwell Okere, Metropolitan PRO,KSM Lagos Metropolitan Council, enjoined members, partners, the mother Church and the general public to support and pray for the success of the new Sir Ehigiator led Metropolitan executive team.
