Today, the world celebrates women and the theme for this year is #AccelerateAction .
According to World Economic Forum, it will take until 2158 to reach full gender parity. However and I think it might not get to that if concerted effort from the TWO gender is made to not just reach gender parity but to eschew the ceaseless condescension, subjugation and dehumanization of WOMANHOOD, particularly like we are currently witnessing in The Nigerian Senate, every nook and crany of the country Nigeria and the world at large.
Today and always, I celebrate the essence of WOMANHOOD, particularly the Great Woman in time past who fought with their body and blood to open doors for the generation of women to come and enjoy some of the things we are enjoying today. There is still a long way to go in shattering the ceiling but we are grateful for the relative progress made so far and working towards gaining more grounds in the elimination of suppression of the RIGHTS of women.
Today, I celebrate the Sports Fashion House Kappa(I will get their kits in the near future), why? Kappa’s symbol represents collaboration and equality between Men and Women. Their logo also means omini or omni meaning ALL.
