Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced a major cabinet reshuffle, effecting key changes in his administration.
According to a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Professor Olanike Adeyemo has been relieved of her duties as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) with immediate effect. She will be succeeded by Professor Musibau Adetunji Babatunde, who has been appointed as the new SSG.
In addition, the statement confirmed the reassignment of Temilolu Seun Ashamu, who has been moved from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to head the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning as Commissioner.
Governor Makinde, known for his focus on administrative efficiency, emphasized that the reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing service delivery in the state.
