Genocide of police career: Blame centralization

Genocide of Police careers didn’t start today. Stop making it looks as if it’s another PBAT’s exclusive franchise

It’s a National franchise that has no exclusivity.

In 2021, President Buhari bypassed DIGs and appointed Alkali Baba Usman, then AIG as Inspector General of police.

Even under the same Buhari and same 2021, there was also genocide of army careers, when President Buhari bypassed seniority and named Major General Yahaya Farouk as army chief.
This is typical when a Heterogenous society is administered centrally.

For survival, every President looks for someone who speaks his mother’s tongue, not his Father’s tongue to trust.
Mother’s blood is thicker than father’s blood: as it is in a polygamous family, so it is in a Heterogenous society that is administered centrally.

The solution is Decentralization of Nigeria along the 6 regions, this will reduce undue attention we attach to the center and we have time to develop.

Our work in the last 30 years is to talk and hold elections and immediately start preparing for the next election and which region and religion will produce the President: modernization is not on the table

Every region can have its own security architecture to manage its regional security and Premier.

But as long as Abuja remains the “Almighty”, we can never enjoy peace, stability and modernization in Nigeria

The elites in the UK, Canada, Switzerland etc are smarter than us. They know heterogeneity goes with Decentralization.

Otherwise, Crab mentality is the order of the day (put Crabs in a jar of water they will always struggle to pull one another down to the bottom of the jar)

That’s Nigeria of today.

The chaos and violence in Nigeria today is not our DESTINY, it is our CHOICE
