Brewing giant, Nigerian Breweries PLC, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Juliet Anammah as the substantive Chair of the Nigerian Breweries PLC Board, effective January 1, 2025.
“Mrs. Anammah succeeds our interim Chairman, Mr. Sijbe “Siep” Hiemstra, who led the board from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. We extend our gratitude to Siep for his leadership during a challenging year and appreciate his service as he continues as a member of our board,” a statement by the company said.
“As we welcome Mrs. Anammah, a trailblazing leader who becomes our first female Board Chair, we mark a significant milestone in our company’s history. We look forward to her strategic guidance and vision.”
