PRESS RELEASE:
1. The Kano State Police Command commends the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA), Kano State Chapter, for organizing a successful health checkup and awareness program in collaboration with El’s Empowerment Foundation at Police Officers Mess, Bompai Kano. The event aimed to promote health awareness and encourage women to prioritize their well-being.
2. Furthermore, the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Women Wing, in conjunction with POWA and El’s Foundation, launched an awareness campaign on illicit drugs and crimes amongst women across the eleven area Police Area Commands in Kano. The initiative seeks to educate women on the dangers of substance abuse and criminal activities.

3. The Chairperson of POWA, Hajia Hadiza Ibrahim Bakori, emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups, training children, and avoiding criminal activities. The President of El’s Foundation, Mrs. Adesuwa, highlighted upcoming empowerment initiatives for women.
4. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Police Command, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, PhD, sfipma, mnim, mnips, masis, applauds the efforts POWA, PCRC, and El’s Foundation in promoting community welfare and security.
