Professor Emmy Ikanaba Unuja IDEGU is the Dean of Faculty of Arts, Social and Management Sciences, Hensard University, Toru Orua, Nigeria. Recently he propounded the Experiential Testimonial Creativity (ETC) Theory recommended for the critiquing of creative works.
The insight behind Emmy Idegu’s conceptualisation of Experiential Testimonial Creativity (E.T.C); an area in which experiences are thought to be so generative and extreme that they defy easy comprehension or explanation by current holophrastic frameworks. As a metaphor, beyond the limits of experience essentially emphasizes extending the boundaries of knowledge to one’s perception when facing an object or environment that is entirely uncharted or not yet experienced.
Dr. Olagoke Olorunleke Ifatimehin from Bayero University, Kano has written a book on Prof. Emmy Idegu’s conceptualisation of Experiential Testimonial Creativity (E.T.C), which is published by Ziles Prints and Publishing in Yenagoa. (ISBN: 978-978-777-310).
It’s a wonderful honour to receive the first copy of the book from the theorists of Professor Emmy Ikanaba Unuja IDEGU. This book has me so excited to read it. I am confident that Emmy Idegu’s conceptualisation of Experiential Testimonial Creativity (E.T.C) will find a more suitable application in the performing and theatre arts.
