The City Boy Movement, a prominent political support group, has officially entered into a strategic partnership with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilize over 42,000 volunteers ahead of the 2027 general elections.
​The collaboration aims to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure, enhance voter sensitization, and ensure a robust campaign network across the nation’s capital.
​Speaking at the partnership alignment meeting in Abuja, leadership representatives from both organizations emphasized the importance of early preparation and structured mobilization to secure victory in the upcoming polls.
Over 42,000 volunteers will be trained and deployed across the six area councils of the FCT to drive community engagement. The initiative will focus heavily on sensitizing residents on voter registration, PVC collection, and electoral guidelines.
The City Boy Movement will integrate its existing grassroots network with the official APC FCT structure to prevent duplication of efforts and maximize outreach.
​The leadership of the FCT APC welcomed the alliance, describing the City Boy Movement as a formidable force that demonstrated its mobilization capacity in previous electoral cycles.
​”This partnership is a major boost to our preparation for 2027. By combining the structure of the party with the energy and digital reach of the City Boy Movement, we are building an unstoppable grassroots machine in the FCT,” an APC official stated.
​Leadership from the City Boy Movement reaffirmed their commitment to the progressive ideals of the APC, noting that the 42,000 volunteers represent just the first phase of a larger national mobilization strategy designed to engage youths, artisans, and professionals alike.
​With the 2027 political landscape already taking shape, this strategic alliance marks one of the earliest major organizational moves in the Federal Capital Territory aimed at securing a decisive electoral advantage.
