A bouncer named Kingsley Otti has been arrested by the Lagos State police for allegedly stabbing a man to death at a lounge on Ago Palace Way in Okota on October 7.
According to police spokesperson SP Benjamin, the incident occurred during an altercation in the club’s car park. The victim, a suspected hoodlum, sustained severe injuries and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The club manager reported the incident around 11:30 AM, stating that the stabbing took place at approximately 3:30 AM. The victim lost consciousness during the altercation and was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where he was declared dead by medical staff.
Detectives from the Ago-Okota Division visited the scene and the hospital to gather evidence and inspect the body. The deceased has been transferred to Mainland General Hospital Morgue in Yaba for an autopsy.
