During the meeting, he formally invited the former Vice President to the upcoming 2nd General Assembly of ASEPP, scheduled for Owerri in November. The Association of South East Past Presidents-General (ASEPP) is a collection of former Town Union Presidents-General from across South Eastern Nigeria, spanning the five Igbo-speaking states. With approximately 4,000 members, it is the largest grassroots organization in the region. ASEPP was established to provide a sense of belonging and unity among former Presidents-General, enabling them to speak with one voice.
