Senate President Godswill Akpabio has declared that the infrastructure and economic reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda are designed to bring tangible, positive changes to the lives of all Nigerians.
Akpabio gave the assurance on Thursday in Abuja while representing the President at the commissioning of a seven-kilometre access road that bypasses the second runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
Speaking to a gathering of government officials and key stakeholders, the Senate President emphasized that the newly completed road project is a testament to the administration’s commitment to strategic infrastructure development.
”The Renewed Hope agenda is not just a slogan; it is a deliberate roadmap to transform our national landscape,” Akpabio stated. “Projects like this airport access road are critical milestones that will ease travel, boost economic activities, and ultimately improve the quality of life for our citizens.”
The infrastructure project is expected to significantly improve logistics and traffic management around the federal capital’s aviation hub, serving as a critical alternative route as operations at the airport expand.
Akpabio reiterated the National Assembly’s readiness to continue collaborating with the executive arm to ensure that impactful developmental projects receive the necessary legislative backing and funding.
