THE Aju Morgan Elumelu Foundation recently made a significant impact in the Bwari Area Council through a visit from Dr. Blessing Elaigwu, FCT Mobilizer for Women for 35%. This initiative aims to promote women’s inclusion in leadership and politics, and the meeting was a resounding success.
During the visit, the Women for 35% group engaged in a productive discussion with members, focusing on the importance of women’s inclusion in leadership and politics. Attendees emphasised the need for increased support for women in politics, creating a level playing field, and networking opportunities.

The Women for 35% initiative is committed to achieving 35% representation of women in decision-making positions, providing resources and mentorship programs to support women in politics, promoting a more inclusive environment, and addressing gender bias and stereotypes.
