“Greatness is not about how high you rise, but about how many people you lift as you rise.” The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Youth Games has officially begun. It opened with energy, purpose, and a clear message — that faith and sports can walk together to build the next generation.
One thousand athletes and officials from seventeen mega regions are competing for honors in the six sports lined up for this year’s edition. From track to field, from football to other disciplines, the competition is already fierce and full of promise.
The MFM Youth Games officially got underway at Mountain Top University on Monday. The atmosphere was charged with prayer, praise, and healthy competition as young people from across the country gathered to represent their regions.
The scale of the event shows the heart of the ministry. Bringing together a thousand participants is no small feat. It speaks to planning, vision, and the commitment to give youths a platform to excel both spiritually and physically. Dr. D.K. Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, has once again proven himself as a man of many parts.
Beyond the pulpit, he is showing up in sports, in philanthropy, and in nation-building. His emphasis on sports is deliberate. He understands that a sound mind needs a sound body.
