The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has congratulated its Executive Secretary, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, on his appointment to the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
Adegbite was appointed Director of Mobilisation, Faith-Based (Christians) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
The commission disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by its Director, Media and Public Relations, Mr Celestine Toruka.
NCPC said its management and staff members appreciated President Bola Tinubu and First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, for finding Adegbite worthy of the assignment.
The commission described the appointment as well-deserved, saying it reflected Adegbite’s capacity, pedigree and record of service to the church and nation.
NCPC said Adegbite, who is also Chaplain of the Aso Villa Chapel and Chairman of CAN, Lagos State, had the capacity to mobilise Nigerian Christians.
The commission said Adegbite’s two-and-a-half-year tenure had transformed Christian pilgrimage operations through effective stakeholder engagement and seamless execution.
It expressed confidence that the new assignment would provide Adegbite another national platform to serve with dignity, patriotism and dedication.
