Guinness Nigeria Plc has reported revenue of approximately N265 billion for the first half ended June 30, 2026, alongside a 53 percent surge in Profit After Tax (PAT) to N25.3 billion.
The financial results were highlighted during the company’s investor and analyst call led by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Girish Sharma, Finance and Strategy Director Mayank Kabra, and Corporate Relations and Legal Director Rotimi Odusola.
Executive leadership attributed the strong performance to improved operational efficiency, strategic brand investments, and a strengthened route-to-market structure. Beyond top-line revenue growth, the beverage giant recorded progress in strengthening its balance sheet and deleveraging its capital structure.
Shareholders’ equity expanded from N43.3 billion to N64.2 billion, while net debt dropped from approximately N37 billion to about N19 billion over the period. Speaking on the performance, CEO Girish Sharma noted that the company’s deliberate debt reduction and balance sheet optimization have positioned Guinness Nigeria to navigate market shifts, maintain sustainable shareholder returns, and fund future expansion initiatives.
