2027 General elections: APC assures members of comprehensive campaign roadmap ahead of August 19 INEC kick-off

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has assured party faithful and supporters across the country that it will soon unveil a detailed, nationwide campaign calendar ahead of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) official August 19 kick-off date for the Presidential and National Assembly election campaigns.

​The assurance was given during a media briefing held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the APC National Secretariat (Buchi Kakaki House) on Blantyre Street, Wuse 2, Abuja.

​Addressing journalists, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, alongside the National Working Committee (NWC) spokespersons, emphasized that the party’s campaign structure is designed to reach every ward and local government area across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

​”Our party members and millions of loyal supporters across the nation should rest assured that a comprehensive, robust, and well-coordinated nationwide campaign programme will be rolled out very soon,” Morka stated. “We are working strictly within the statutory timetable released by INEC, which designates August 19 as the official commencement date for the Presidential and National Assembly campaigns. The APC is fully prepared to hit the ground running with an inclusive strategy that highlights our achievements and forward-looking agenda.”

​According to party leadership, the soon-to-be-released schedule will detail: Zonal & State Rallies; Specific dates and venues for grand presidential rallies across all six geopolitical zones.

Details on town hall engagements and direct stakeholder sessions with women, youth groups, business leaders, and grassroot structures. There will also be final deployment mandates for members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

​The party urged its organs at the state, local government, and ward levels to maintain order and align all local mobilization efforts with the central campaign guidelines as the official kick-off date approaches.
