The House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee investigating the alleged operation of a illegal body, the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has ordered the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disun, to produce the disputed Director-General of the agency, Mr. Adeyemi Martin, before the panel on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
​The directive was issued on Monday, July 27, 2026, during an ongoing legislative inquiry at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, following allegations surrounding the unauthorized creation and financial activities of the non-existent presidential agency.
​The parliamentary probe follows reports of the unauthorized establishment of the PFIPC, which fraudulently presented itself as an official federal entity. The Presidency has publicly distanced itself from the body, clarifying that it has no legal mandate or executive backing.
Lawmakers are investigating the scope of the operations, unauthorized bank accounts opened under fictitious government names, and potential breach of national security protocols.
