The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BYD Motors Nigeria Limited, Chief Moses Ayom, has expressed strong support for the nomination of Joseph Tegbe as Minister of Power by President Bola Tinubu, describing the move as both timely and strategic for Nigeria’s struggling electricity sector.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Ayom said the nomination signals a deliberate effort by the Federal Government to reposition the country’s power industry, which has long been plagued by inefficiencies, inadequate infrastructure, and inconsistent supply.
