Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress is well-positioned for a resounding victory in the 2027 elections at all levels, citing the party’s strong performance and growing grassroots support.
The governor made the remarks over the weekend in Gombe after participating in the APC Local Government Congress.
Yahaya reaffirmed his full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and described the party as solid, united, and focused on delivering effective governance.
He highlighted that the ongoing nationwide congresses are strengthening the party’s grassroots structure, deepening internal democracy, and strategically positioning the APC for greater electoral success.
“The smooth and peaceful conduct of the congress reflects the maturity, cohesion, and strength of the party’s internal democratic processes,” Yahaya said, commending members for their discipline and commitment to the party’s vision.
The governor expressed optimism that the APC’s consolidated structures and active engagement at the local level would translate into broader victories in the 2027 general elections, reinforcing the party’s mandate to drive national development.
