Quiet activity surrounded the Uphill Residence of former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, in Minna, Niger State, on Monday afternoon as prominent political figures arrived for a private meeting. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was the first to arrive, touching down in Minna at about 1.30 p.m.
From the airport, he proceeded directly to Babangida’s residence without any public engagement. Moments later, at approximately 2.10 p.m., Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, arrived at the Uphill Residence and joined the former vice president inside the house, where the closed-door meeting commenced. Details of the discussion remain undisclosed, as the meeting was held away from the media.
