Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will on September 30, 2025, present a book chronicling the achievements, challenges, and lessons of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in its 10 years of governance at the federal level.

The book, titled “APC and a Decade of Governance: The Nigerian Experience”, is expected to be unveiled at a high-profile event in Abuja, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC national leaders, lawmakers, governors, diplomats, and civil society groups billed to attend.

Governor Uzodimma, who also chairs the Progressives Governors’ Forum, said the publication was conceived to document the party’s policy strides since it assumed power in 2015, as well as provide a reference point for future administrations.

“History must not be left to oral tradition alone. As APC clocks 10 years in governance, it is important to capture our journey — the successes, the struggles, and the vision for the future — in a documented form,” Uzodimma noted in a statement released by his media office on Monday.

He added that the book highlights key reforms in infrastructure, agriculture, social investment, security, and the economy, while also offering a candid assessment of areas that still require improvement.

Party insiders say the event will serve both as an intellectual stocktaking exercise and as part of APC’s strategy to redefine its image ahead of the 2027 elections.

Political observers view the move as an attempt to consolidate APC’s narrative of continuity, while also providing the party with a documented legacy it can showcase to Nigerians and the international community.

The book presentation, according to the organizers, will also feature a panel discussion by academics, policymakers, and political analysts on the future of governance and party politics in Nigeria.
