Activist Deji Adeyanju has launched a scathing attack on supporters of Peter Obi, insisting that their conduct is the reason the Labour Party candidate will never become president. In a post on Sunday, Adeyanju said, “Obidients are the reason Obi will never be president. They have insulted, threatened everyone that could have supported or helped them. They have created political enemies across all zones by insulting everyone and their actions are sanctioned by him.”
He alleged that even Obi’s close associates perpetuate the same behavior, saying, “It is his close aides that insult people, from politicians to critics, journalists, artists, etc. They insult everyone. The same insulting strategy that failed them in 2023, lmao.”
Adeyanju’s remarks continue the heated debate on the political style of Obi’s supporters, who are often criticized for their aggressive online engagement.
