The annual 7 May World Praise Day is happening once again in the global outlets that are joining in the celebration, on Thursday, 7 May 2026.
The event organiser/visioner, Deacon Banjo Omole, of the Victory Centre of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Iju Road, announced that this is the 12th edition of the programme, which began to gain traction few years ago.
As usual, the flagship centre remains the RCCG Iju Road Parish, while several centrs and worship outlets are expected to join the event round the clock.
For the first time, 7 May World Praise Day will be held at the Obey’s Prayer Mountain, Keesi, Abeokuta, Ogun State, according to Deacon Omole, adding that groups in homes, prayer camps and worship centers will be joining the global praise sessions in honour of our God.
Deacon Omole reiterated the vision of the programme, which is primarily to praise God on 7 May every year, wherever you are because he is our creator. He said since he received this vision he has continued to pursue it every year,to the glory of God.
He said, there’s no hard and fast rule about it, anyone could join in with family and friends, from midnight of 7 May, and continue at their convenience till the end of the day.
He assured that the event can only be bigger, as millions around the world participate.
