Addressing a high-level summit of state leaders, traditional rulers, and political actors on Wednesday at the Government House in Port Harcourt, Governor Fubara signaled an end to prolonged partisan friction in favor of a unified front aimed at securing economic progress and political cohesion for the state.
Fubara praised President Tinubu’s economic reforms, describing the President’s national agenda as the blueprint needed for long-term stability and sustainable growth across the Niger Delta region.
The governor formally integrated his state apparatus with the Rainbow Coalition—a cross-party bloc forged by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike—aimed at consolidating political power and ensuring unified voting strength ahead of 2027.
Reaffirming his commitment to peace, Governor Fubara noted that political reconciliation between key stakeholders in Port Harcourt and Abuja remains essential for accelerating major federal infrastructure projects within the state.
