Security forces in Malumfashi, Katsina State, arrested a young woman on August 4, 2025, after discovering a military uniform, three loaded magazines, and other tactical gear concealed in her bag during a routine checkpoint stop.
The suspect, intercepted around 1 a.m. while attempting to leave the town, also had camouflage trousers, a combat jacket, and multiple mobile phones, raising suspicions of links to terrorist logistics networks.
She is currently in custody, undergoing interrogation to uncover her motives and potential affiliations, with authorities probing whether she is part of a broader arms supply chain in the region.
