In a show of political unity, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, operating under the Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF), have formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office. The forum pledged to “double” the state’s support for the president ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement came at a high-level meeting on Wednesday at Reverton Hotel in Lokoja, which brought together party leaders, lawmakers, elders, and other key figures. According to the forum, the gathering was aimed at fostering cohesion within the party and addressing internal gaps that could affect its performance in future elections.
Speaking on behalf of the forum, party elders emphasized that aligning with the ruling party at the federal level would strengthen APC’s presence in the state, while promoting unity and collaboration among party members.
The stakeholders also highlighted the importance of preparing strategically for the 2027 polls to ensure that Kogi State delivers a strong mandate for the party.
