Governor Uba Sani has reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting initiatives that expand digital literacy, promote innovation and provide equal learning opportunities for every child in Kaduna State.
The governor made this known on Tuesday at the “Class Is Open Everywhere” DigiTruck Digital Skills Training Programme, where he emphasized that no child would be discriminated against, whether in urban or rural communities.

Represented at the event by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Gloria Ibrahim, Governor Sani noted that access to technology and relevant digital skills has become a necessity rather than a luxury in today’s world.
“Students of Kaduna State must not only be educated; they must be equipped,” the governor said, stressing the importance of preparing young people for a technology-driven future.

He explained that the DigiTruck initiative features a fully equipped mobile digital classroom that will move directly to secondary schools across the state, delivering digital skills training to students at their doorstep.
“By bringing learning to the students instead of waiting for students to find learning, this programme ensures that opportunity is not limited by location,” he said.

Governor Sani added that the initiative aligns with his administration’s broader vision to bridge the digital divide, empower youths with practical skills and create an inclusive education system that leaves no child behind.

The DigiTruck Digital Skills Training Programme is expected to enhance students’ access to technology, foster creativity and innovation, and equip young people with essential skills needed to thrive in the modern digital economy.
