President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to intensify efforts in taking the message of his administration’s reforms to the grassroots, stressing that public understanding and participation are vital to the success of government policies.
The President made the call at the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) Renewed Hope Ambassadors Strategic Summit held at the State House Conference Hall, Abuja.
Tinubu, who was represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, emphasised that no reform can succeed without public awareness, engagement and constructive feedback from citizens.
He noted that while the administration initially focused on economic stabilisation, its agenda has now shifted decisively toward rapid expansion and resilience-building across key sectors of the economy.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, led by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, is an intra-party structure aimed at generating nationwide consciousness about the programmes and achievements of the administration.
The President urged members of the structure to effectively communicate his administration’s scorecard to communities across the country, ensuring that Nigerians understand the rationale behind ongoing reforms and the long-term benefits they are designed to deliver.
The summit was presided over by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and was attended by governors, ministers, members of the National Assembly, other party leaders and private sector representatives.
Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development, urging party leaders and stakeholders to remain united in advancing reforms aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s economic foundations and improving the well-being of citizens.
