President Bola Tinubu announced plans to construct a new national secretariat for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, aiming to provide a modern headquarters befitting the ruling party’s status. Speaking at the 14th APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on July 24, 2025, at the State House Conference Centre, Tinubu directed the APC National Working Committee, Progressive Governors’ Forum, and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to form a committee to identify a suitable location, stating, “We’ll look for an appropriate land to build a befitting secretariat,” as reported.
