President Bola Tinubu has extended the heartfelt condolences of himself, family, government, and people of Nigeria to the family of his immediate predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari who died this afternoon in a London hospital.
In a telephone call to Buhari’s wife and former first lady Aisha Buhari Tinubu expressed deep sorrow on Buhari’s demise and prayed for the repose of his soul. Tinubu also comforted the family and, indeed, all Nigerians on the death of Buhari.
