President Bola Tinubu has showered praise on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his relentless work ethic and dedication to the infrastructural renewal of the nation’s capital.
Speaking on Wednesday at the commissioning of the newly constructed Collector Road C01 and its accompanying bridge in Abuja’s Institution and Research District, the President described Wike as a leader who remains awake until the job is completed.
”He is a tireless administrator who does not sleep until the job is done,” President Tinubu remarked, acknowledging the visible shift in Abuja’s infrastructural landscape since Wike assumed office.
President Tinubu used the occasion to link the rapid infrastructure delivery in the FCT to his administration’s overarching “Renewed Hope” agenda. He noted that the changes happening in Abuja are a microcosm of the progress his government aims to replicate across all regions of Nigeria.
The newly commissioned Collector Road C01 and bridge will significantly improve connectivity and ease transit within the key research and institutional zones of the city.
Tinubu reiterated that the progress in the FCT is a testament to what is possible nationwide through focused and aggressive development strategies.
The President expressed confidence in the current FCT leadership to sustain the momentum of delivering high-impact projects.
The commissioning marks the latest in a series of high-profile infrastructure project launches in the capital, signaling the federal government’s aggressive push to modernize urban infrastructure and boost economic activity.
