President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent warm birthday felicitations to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, praising his record of service and leadership as he marks his birthday.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Senator Kyari as a consummate statesman and a distinguished public servant whose career has been marked by unwavering dedication to nation-building and effective leadership.
The President recalled Kyari’s wide-ranging experience in public office, noting that he has served the country at different levels as a former member of the House of Representatives, a two-time Senator and a former acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He said these roles have equipped the minister with the depth of experience and political acumen required for national leadership.
Tinubu also commended Kyari’s current stewardship of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, describing it as critical to the administration’s drive to ensure food security, boost agricultural productivity and improve the livelihoods of farmers across the country.
According to the President, Kyari’s commitment to public service and his inclusive leadership style have continued to earn him respect within and beyond government circles.
Tinubu wished the minister good health, wisdom and renewed strength, praying that the years ahead would be filled with greater accomplishments in service to the nation.
