Nigerian singer Tems is set to perform at the first-ever halftime show of the FIFA Club World Cup Final later today at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The historic performance, the first time a FIFA competition has featured a halftime show, will see Tems join global stars J Balvin and Doja Cat, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay and produced by Global Citizen, spotlighting football and music coming together on a global stage.
The prelude to the main event is expected to begin around 3:45 p.m. local time (21:45 CEST) during the Chelsea vs PSG showdown. The show aims to celebrate diversity and unity, with proceeds supporting the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund
