Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms, describing them as a major driver of development in the state and across the country.
Speaking to journalists in Lafia, the state capital, Sule said the policy measures introduced by the President have laid a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth, creating opportunities for increased investment and infrastructural expansion.
According to the governor, many of the ongoing and completed projects in Nasarawa would not have been possible without the reforms initiated by the Tinubu administration.
He noted that the policies have helped stimulate economic activities and improve the fiscal capacity of states. “Without the reforms of Mr. President, most of the development we are seeing today, especially here in Nasarawa State, would not have happened,” Sule said.
“The reforms have created the economic boom we are witnessing. That is the reason we have been able to achieve what we have achieved.” The governor added that Nasarawa State has begun to reap the benefits of a more stable and growth-oriented economic environment, citing improvements in infrastructure, investment inflows and job creation.
Sule reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to aligning with the Federal Government’s economic agenda, stressing that sustained support for the reforms would further accelerate development and improve the living standards of residents in Nasarawa State.
