Soludo Reaffirms Commitment to Boosting Aviation Infrastructure in Anambra

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has reiterated his administration’s dedication to transforming the state’s aviation sector through strategic infrastructural upgrades and enhanced service delivery.
The governor made this known during the commissioning of a new Protocol Lounge at the Chinua Achebe International Airport, Anambra. He said the project forms part of a broader, multi-phased development plan aimed at modernizing airport facilities, improving passenger experience, and positioning the state as an emerging aviation hub in the region.
Soludo explained that the new lounge is one of several improvements designed to raise operational standards at the airport and attract increased regional and international air traffic. According to him, the state government is committed to creating a world-class aviation environment that will support economic growth, tourism, and investment.
“Our vision is to make Anambra a preferred destination for travelers and investors alike,” the governor said, adding that the ongoing upgrades will help streamline airport processes and ensure greater comfort and efficiency for passengers.
The commissioning ceremony drew government officials, aviation stakeholders, and community leaders, who lauded the administration’s efforts to elevate infrastructure across the state.
Governor Soludo assured that more development projects are underway as part of his broader plan to strengthen transportation systems and improve connectivity in Anambra.
