SENATOR Henry Seriake Dickson has felicitated with Dr. Samuel Ogbaku, Managing Director on his 50th birthday.
In a message he personally signed, Dickson, who represents Bayelsa West Senatorial District, he addressed Dr. Ogbuku thus, “You are one young man who, despite partisan differences, strives to rise above the fray of partisanship to work with all, and also accord respect and regards to elders.
“Unlike many of our people in very high offices, you have always expressed your concern for the plight of the Ijaw nation in your discussions with me, and the need to improve their lot.
“As a man who has spent all my adult life fighting, defending, encouraging and supporting our people, irrespective of partisan or other differences, I will not fail to continue to encourage young men and women like yourself to continue along this path of doing their utmost for the Ijaw Nation, the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
“There is no doubt that you have given a good account of yourself in your 50 years of life on Earth, especially in the areas and capacities in which you have be called upon to serve society.
Senator Dickson continued, “As the current Managing Director of NDDC, you’re doing your utmost to ensure that your mandate is exercised to the benefit of our people in the Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
“So, today, on your special birthday, your Golden anniversary, I wish you the very best of everything, and urge you to use the goodwill and the blessings of God, of which you’re a beneficiary, to continue to reflect, and to re-dedicate yourself more to the service of our people.
“On behalf of my family and my constituents, the good people of Bayelsa West Senatorial District, I join your family, friends and well wishers to congratulate and wish you many happy returns of this day, for continuous service to man and God.
