Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State will on Monday, inaugurate the PBAT-KOH Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters on the Lagos Island in Lagos State.

Mr Bolaji Yusuf, Administrator of the PBAT KOH Lagos Central Campaign Headquarters, made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday.

He described the newly transformed structure as an institutional asset.

Yusuf stated that in an environment where organisation, communication, and community relationships are essential, a dedicated headquarters provided a vital base for political participation.

According to Yusuf, the facility will serve as the nerve centre for political coordination, strategic engagement, grassroots mobilisation, and campaign activities across the Lagos Central Senatorial District.

He said: “It offers a physical base from which campaign activities can be coordinated and relationships with party members and supporters strengthened”.

Yunus noted that the venue would provide a focal point for bringing people together around shared political aspirations across the Lagos Central district.

“The edifice, therefore, represents more than concrete, blocks, roofing, and finishing. Its greater significance lies in the activities, relationships, ideas, and collective efforts.

“The venue will function as a central meeting point for party leaders, political stakeholders, community representatives, youth groups, and women supporters.

“Ultimately, its success will be measured not only by its appearance, but also by how effectively it serves its purpose as a centre for engagement,” he said.

The administrator emphasised that the building’s transformation from a carcass stage to a completed structure demonstrates purposeful leadership and a determination to deliver results.

“This transformation tells a powerful story: the difference between a structure and a completed edifice is vision, commitment, and the determination to deliver results,” Yusuf stated.

He noted that turning political vision into tangible reality requires deliberate action, consistency, and dedication to serve local communities effectively across the senatorial district.

“It speaks to the belief that every great achievement begins with a vision, but it takes purposeful action, consistency, and dedication,” Yusuf added.

The administrator noted that as the first of its kind on Lagos Island, the edifice represented a bold investment in party administration and grassroots connectivity.

He added that strategies would be coordinated at the site to unify the aspirations of All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful working toward common political goals.

According to him, senior political figures expected at the commissioning include Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and Deputy Governorship Candidate Princess Damilola Sonayon James.

Also expected are Governance Advisory Council Chairman, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Lagos Central Vice Director-General, Chief Abayomi Daramola, and KOH Campaign Director-General, Musiliu Obanikoro.

All APC candidates contesting within the district, alongside key party officials, stewards, and campaign members, will attend the landmark senatorial headquarters opening ceremony.

The Monday commissioning formally opens the campaign base as preparations intensify across the Lagos Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
