As you are aware, a nationwide solidarity march for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2025. The protest will be concentrated around the Aso Rock Villa, Eagle Square, the National Assembly Complex, Force Headquarters, the Court of Appeal, and Shehu Shagari Way in Abuja, with similar gatherings possible in other major cities.
In light of the planned demonstrations and the associated traffic disruptions, roadblocks, and possible confrontations, please exercise extra caution on that day:
Avoid the listed protest zones (especially Aso Rock, Eagle Square, and surrounding streets).- Plan alternative routes to work.
Your safety is very important. Stay clear of the protest areas.
