Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode’s ex-wife, Precious Chikwendu, has spoken out about the ongoing marital crisis between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Her comments come amid reports that Regina’s brother, Sammy West, was arrested and remanded in prison, a situation that has drawn public attention and sympathy for the actress.
In a post shared on Instagram on Friday, Precious questioned the silence of Regina’s colleagues, wondering why many who benefited from her kindness were not speaking up for her during this difficult period.
“Regina Daniels opened doors to lots of people during her time as a wife, where are everyone at this moment when everyone should stand with her? Ndi Actors Guild and co?” she wrote.
The former beauty queen expressed empathy for Regina, saying she understands the emotions the young actress is going through.
“I know every inch of her emotions, and she is way too young for this experience.”
She described Regina’s current situation as a reflection of “narcissistic and vicious” behaviour, noting that such trials often build strength in those who endure them.
“Why torture a person you swore to love and protect? This is all shades of narcissistic and vicious. Breaking her only makes her stronger because she is going through everything she was once scared of. After this stage comes a woman who is afraid of nothing,” she said.
