President Traore of Bukinafaso is the toast of the whole world at the moment. Even though he is a military leader no African President in recent times has spoken like him. No African leaders in recent times has been more successful than him at the moment. He is turning Bukinafaso as a wonder of the world.
Western democracy is adored by some as the best system of government. In my view, Western democracy is not the best system of government. Western democracy rests on assumptions which do not conform to reality. It is a camouflage of the West to continue to exploit Africa for its advantage and gain.
It was democracy that killed Socrates. It was democracy that killed ECOWAS and African Union. Small wonder the Sahel countries have pulled out of ECOWAS. ECOWAS has become another Western contraption to undo African
Don’t tell me democracy is the best system of government. It is not. So, stop worshipping democracy. Look, French historian and Political Philospher Alexis de Tocquivellie once travelled to the US to study the American democacy. The outcome of his study as stated in his work *Democracy in America* shows that democracy in America is still work in progress
Plato was very hostile to democracy. Why? As far as he was concerned, democracy may succeed with the experts and guardians in power. But democracy bereft of Plato’s experts and guardians is the hugest tragedy as we are experiencing in Nigeria at the moment. In Nigeria imbeciles, thieves and drug barons have seized power and entrusted themselves with the sacred duty of governing the affairs of their fellow men. This is why the Tinubu democracy is a complete disaster. A bad tree cannot bear good fruits.
Can President Tinubu or any African democratic leader be so courageous to speak truth to power as Trarore is currently doing today? No.
Kudos to Trarore. When the West impose their democracy on any African country it is oftentimes a ploy to sponsor division, coup d’etat and retrogression in that African country.
So, stop worshipping Western democracy.
