The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is set to lead a national prayer session aimed at energising Nigeria’s economy and fostering collective hope. Scheduled for Sunday, July 6 at the church’s national headquarters in Ebute‑Metta, Lagos, the event, held under the theme “Transformation of our Nation into the realm of Divine Opportunities”, is part of RCCG’s monthly thanksgiving service, this time dedicated to intercession for economic renewal.
Adeboye, speaking through his Special Assistant on Administration, Pastor Dele Balogun, said Nigeria is currently undergoing “challenging times” driven by inflation and other economic pressures, but urged that these can be overcome through faith. “Our nation … is going through a challenging time. However, the good news is that these challenges are surmountable by faith, if we do not entertain doubt,” he said. He encouraged Nigerians to abandon negative talk and embrace faith-based thinking to unlock “divine opportunities.”
