Past Supreme Knight
Elder statesman and a past Supreme Knight of The Order of The Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria KSM, Sir Dr Fidelis Rex Chukwuemeka Ezemenari, yesterday marked his 95th birthday with pomp and pageantry. It was indeed a double celebration as the event coincided with the 83rd birthday of his beloved sister Lady Margaret Ezemenari.
The high point of the birthday celebration was a Mass at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Independence Layout Enugu, which was followed by a reception at the Amadeo Event Centre, Ogui, Enugu. A high-powered KSM team was in attendance in solidarity with the former Supreme Knight. The KSM team was led by the Metropolitan Grand Knight of Onitsha Metropolitan Council Sir Jude Mbaenu who represented the Supreme Knight Sir Steve Adehi, SAN. Also present were the Supreme Physician Sir Calistus Eneh and the Noble Advocate Lady Rose Chukwuonwe
Sir Ezemenari, a nonagerian, remains a model Knight. Although, he now spends most of his time in Canada, he continues to take keen interest in the activities of KSM Nigeria. The Ochiagha N’Uga will also be remembered for his pioneering efforts in the birthing of the Ajaokuta Steel Complex, which was to transform the nation’s industrial base.
The Supreme Knight Sir Steve Adehi, SAN, on behalf of the entire membership of KSM Nigeria, wished Sir Ezemenari Happy Birthday and God’s continued blessings.
