The Oyo State Post-Primary Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced a revised schedule for its Computer-Based Test (CBT) for prospective applicants.
TESCOM Chairman Mr. Akinade Alamu revealed the changes while addressing reporters, stating that the CBT originally set to take place from Monday to Friday next week will now be condensed into a three-day period, in an apparent response to the planned nationwide protest expected to begin on Wednesday.
“To avoid any disruptions, TESCOM, in collaboration with partner organizations including the Distance Learning Centre (DLC) at the University of Ibadan, has decided to shorten the examination period,” Alamu stated, disclosing that “the exams will now take place from July 29 to July 31.”
The chairman assured candidates that this adjustment would not affect the integrity of the exam, pointing out that the DLC has agreed to provide additional examination halls and computers to accommodate the condensed schedule.
“Candidates are advised to check their phones and email regularly, as notifications about the updated timetable have been sent. Specific exam dates and times for individual applicants can be accessed through the dedicated job portal,” he advised.
