Negotiations between Galatasaray and Napoli are now in the final stages over the permanent transfer of Nigeria star striker Victor Osimhen, with both clubs reportedly reviewing and progressing all formal documentation ahead of a confirmed deal. Galatasaray has agreed in principle to pay Napoli a €75 million fee, €40 million upfront and €35 million in instalments, while also accepting a clause barring any sale of Osimhen to Italian clubs for the next two years.

The Turkish side has pushed back hard on Napoli’s latest conditions, including a demand for a 20% sell‑on fee and tighter payment terms. Galatasaray is instead offering a more flexible payment plan and has already secured bank guarantees as requested, though disagreements remain over the structure and timeline of final payments. Sources close to the talks confirm that Osimhen, who shone on loan last season with Galatasaray scoring 37 goals in 41 matches, has agreed personal terms on a three-year contract with renewal options.

While both clubs seem optimistic a breakthrough is near, Napoli’s President Aurelio De Laurentiis continues to insist on strict conditions, including the sell‑on participation and transfer restrictions to Serie A. Both clubs, however, appear committed to resolving the standoff, rumours suggest Osimhen could be officially unveiled in Istanbul within days if pending documentation and financial terms are settled.
