The Action Alliance presidential candidate, Adekunle Omo-Aje, has urged political parties, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to uphold the integrity of the 2027 general elections.

Omo-Aje made the call while speaking on preparations for the elections, stressing the need for all stakeholders to ensure that the electoral process was credible, transparent and free from manipulation.

He urged political parties and their candidates to respect the rules governing the elections and avoid actions capable of undermining public confidence in the democratic process.

The presidential candidate also called on INEC to remain impartial and ensure that all eligible voters were given equal opportunity to participate in the elections. He urged security agencies to maintain professionalism and provide a safe environment for voters and electoral officials.

Omo-Aje said a credible electoral process was essential to strengthening democracy and promoting good governance in Nigeria. He called on all stakeholders to place the interest of the country above personal and political interests ahead of the 2027 polls.
