Araceli Aid Foundation Academy, a skills acquisition centre, has opened at Obeagu Uno, Enugu State.
The ceremony which was held over the weekend drew prominent figures from across the nation, including Mr. . Peter Obi, former Nigerian presidential candidate and other distinguished dignitaries from the academic sector.
In his address, Mr. Obi who officially commissioned the project, lauded the efforts of Anne Rossmeier, the American philanthropist behind the Araceli Aid Foundation, for her generous contributions to improving the lives of indigent children through education.
The academy, which offers courses ranging from fashion design to digital skills acquisition, aims to equip students with practical knowledge and vocational skills that will foster employability and creativity in their future careers.
The school also ensures a well-rounded education by promoting proficiency in three major Nigerian languages, providing students with both technical and cultural tools for success.
Peter Obi further emphasized the significance of such investments in shaping the future of the country, noting that these educational initiatives are crucial for national development.
